LTC (R) Hugo Jackson is a native of Money, Mississippi; he is the proud son of Mr. & Mrs. A.J. and Mary Ellen Jackson of Money, Mississippi. Shortly after retiring from the Army, LTC (R) Jackson started his second career as a JROTC Instructor in Clarksdale, Mississippi and taught at four schools prior to Kenwood High. He has served as Senior Army Instructor for 15 years, during which time he became a mentor and father figure to many students and families in various communities.
Employed by the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System as Senior Army Instructor during his tenure, he continues to work with Robotic Program, Marksmanship Team, Battalion Staff, Community Service Projects and Fundraising. LTC Jackson's focus since arriving to the Knights Battalion is to secure scholarships for the upperclassmen for their post-secondary education.

Be willing to learn what we do in JROTC

Be willing to lead by example

Be willing to wear our Army Service Uniform (ASU) one day out of the week correctly (To be worn all day)

Be willing to participate

Be willing to led not only in JROTC but all classes. This means: (no tardiness, fights, stay off of social media with personal issues, no cell phones in class, no ISS/OSS) allow our classes to change you for the better
