👋 WELCOME to KnightNation! 😁 Hello! My name is Rebecca Byrd. The 2024-2025 school year will be my 26th year teaching music and my 18th year at Kenwood. My passion is using music to guide students through solutions when they encounter adversities, build community and cooperative skills though performance, and explore innovative solutions to apply to all contexts of their lives. 🎓My educational experience includes a Master of Educational Innovations in Leadership from St. Edward's University, a Master of Music in Choral Conducting and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Mississippi.
