Cheer Packet 20-21 (2) updated

Tryout dates:  March 17-19, 2021

Dear Interested Cheerleaders and Parents,

If you are interested in trying out for the Kenwood High School Cheerleading Squad, please review the application packet using the link provided.

The Cheerleading Squad allows our students to gain valuable experiences to include confidence, teamwork, determination, and commitment. In return, the school gains pride and school spirit through your participation.

The 2021-22 cheer season may consist of a JV squad depending on how many students try out. The less experienced cheerleaders will be placed on the JV squad. Being on the JV squad is a great opportunity to prepare for varsity.

Please read this entire packet carefully so that you are fully aware of the program’s requirements.

A Parent’s meeting will take place on March 16, at 6pm via Zoom. Only the participants that turn in this packet prior to March 16th, will be given the Zoom code to attend the meeting. The Zoom code will be emailed to parents in order to attend the meeting.  parent/guardian is strongly encouraged to attend. We will discuss this packet and answer questions so you will be informed about the cheer program before allowing your daughter or son to tryout. If you are not able to attend this meeting at this time due to work obligations, please contact the coaches so that you will have all the necessary information as parent participation is extremely important to our success.
